This quick guide will show you how to remove students, then archive classes you no longer need.  There is also instruction on how to reuse old activities/posts from the archived classes.  Removing Students 3.  Archiving 1.  2.  3.  Reusing posts from Archived Classes Then select the class, post you want to reuse then change the date due, etc to your liking. Create a Quiz with Google Forms.

Google forms can now be used to create simple quizzes! You can create a quiz with correct and incorrect answers for questions with multiple choices, checkboxes, or drop-down options. Make a new quiz Create a new quiz Go to forms.google.com . In the template chooser, click the template box above "Blank quiz." Change a form to a quiz Go to forms.google.com . Open a form or make a new one. At the top right, click Settings . Click QUIZZES . Next to "Make this a quiz" click the switch . Click SAVE . Choose correct answers Assign points to questions You can make an answer key for multiple choice, checkbox, or drop-down questions. To add a new question, click Add . Change Your Google (Mail, Drive, Youtube, Blogger,..) password

Change password You can change your Google Account password at any time. Sign in to  My Account . In the  " Sign-in & security" section, select  Signing in to Google . Choose  Password. Enter your new password information, then select  Change Password.  Password should be at least 8 characters long. Please keep you password confidential.

Changing Language in Gmail

Google Language Settings If you open your Gmail (or school email) and the language is in Thai, you will need to change the language settings for your account to English. This is a simple procedure, but a challenge for non-Thai speakers as all the menus will be in Thai. Language is a user controlled setting, the video below shows you how to change the setting: Click on your Avatar or picture in the top right corner Click on the left hand link under your email address (to go to account) Select the third tab (language settings) Change the top box to English Click in the pop-up to reload Screen should now be in English and you can select the appropriate regional variant of English. At this point I recommend you log out of Google and restart your browser to check that the setting has fully changed. Sharing Settings in Google Drive It is a good habit to periodically check the share settings on an object are correct. There are two different methods for sharing an item in Google drive, both are accessed from the Share option (right click on a object or the Share button in a document) Firstly every item has a Visibility setting. When you create a document this will always be set to the bisphuket.ac.th system default (currently Private ). When you look at the sharing screen this is the top item in the list and the options are largely self-explanatory. The following guidelines are recommended: For documents or folders intended for teachers use visibility should be Private For documents or folders intended for student access visibility should be set to People at British International School Phuket with link Only in rare circumstances should Anyone with the link or Public on the web be selected. In many cases such documents would be better placed on the school website ...

   An Introduction to Google Drive Google Drive Application on Mac Go to  http://drive.google.com   . Click the  Download Google Drive  for your Mac button.  Open  installgoogledrive.dmg . Open the installation file and drag the Google Drive icon to your  Applications folder . Open Google Drive from your Applications folder. (You may receive a warning that Google Drive is an application downloaded from the Internet. Click the Open button.) Enter your  Google Account username  and  password  in the window that opens.
